Opened in 2014, Court Street Custom Framing is owned and operated by Danielle Kilmer.

Hello! I am Danielle Kilmer, the owner of Court Street Custom Framing. This business came to life in 2014 in the tiny back corner of a nonprofit art gallery across the street from the current location. At the time, I had just returned to Missouri after living in California for 15 years, where I had worked as a healthcare/institutional interior designer, and played around with cat furniture design and a variety of artistic pursuits including drawing, painting, photography, and art history. I was getting reacquainted with my home state and excited to be starting a new chapter, which included volunteering in that little art gallery, immersing myself in the local art scene, and starting a picture framing business. Picture framing seemed like the perfect blend of all of my experiences and interests, bringing together art, woodworking, and design.

With that, I know I bring a professional eye and craftsmanship to your framing projects. But even more importantly, it is a privilege to be in a position to hear the stories behind your most cherished items, then give them the care and attention they deserve so they are safely preserved, displayed, and appreciated for years to come.
